What Will Your 2023 Be Like?

No that is not a typo.
I know that we are getting ready to enter 2022, but the question is if you keep on doing what you are doing, are you going to see the changes you are hoping to see in 2022, or will it be pretty much like 2021 meaning 2023 won’t be any different.
For many of you you have been thinking about the immigration process for some time. You thought maybe you would do something in 2020 and here you are at the end of 2022 and you haven’t moved forward. I realize that they are different times for many, but Canada still continues to welcome immigrants to the country.
We heard some great news the last number of days from the governments in Canada and their commitment to spend an additional $85 million to speed up the immigration process. As well the Minister of Immigration received his mandate from the Prime Minister’s office and he has been tasked with a very aggressive immigration number.
We saw Ontario come out an announce that they were looking to bring at least 100 entrepreneurs into the province with a minimum investment of $200,000 CAD into a local business.
We understand that there are still COVID concerns, however, with governments around the world working endlessly to tackle this virus, we know that international travel will continue.
However, if looking at coming to Canada right at the moment through one of the Provincial PNP program, that can be tough with required exploratory visits.
That is why when working with our clients we are always looking at the Start Up Visa as it is the quickest business immigration path to PR. Within 18–24 months you will have your PR, and if you need to come to Canada sooner, we can arrange for an essential worker work permit. You don’t have to worry about CRS points, your age, your net worth, or your educational background — Canada is interested in you and your innovation and the ability to bring it not only to Canada, but to the world. We can help you grow not only from 0 to 1, but from 1 to 100 on that journey. And the best part is you can conduct your business from your home country while waiting.
And if the Start Up Visa program isn’t a right fit, we will look at the C11 program. This is program is about as much the intent to start a business in Canada as it is to needing to purchase an existing business. You want to start a new business? A franchise? Or purchase an existing business? Then the C11 could be a great route.
In fact even your investment can be spread over a period of time along with the job creation requirements for Canadian employees. And it can be a quick approval. You can live anywhere in Canada and you don’t even need an exploratory visit. The other aspect is English or French doesn’t necessarily have to be a necessity at this point.
The nice thing about both of these programs, is that you don’t have to be here in Canada to start the process. Our team can assist you in gaining traction while waiting to arrive. We will show you exactly what you need to be doing in your business to ensure that you meet the requirements of the IRCC.
So, how is 2023 going to look? Will it look like a new start in Canada, or will it still just be a dream of maybe someday…
